THE CHALLENGE

As presenting sponsor of the Faces of Fitness Festival in Chicago (7,500+ attendees), lululemon sought to create an on-site experience that embodied restoration and performance. The goal: drive membership sign-ups, showcase product innovation, and cement lululemon as the go-to lifestyle brand for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Scope Of Work

  • Event Design & Production of the lululemon “R+R Oasis” booth
  • On-Site Experience Development featuring two activations:

    • Cool Down Club: shaded seating, eucalyptus towels, and ice cream giveaways
    • All Set, No (More) Sweat: vanity stations with disinfectant mist, sunscreen, and deodorant top-ups, fully relabelled with lululemon branding
  • Premium Gifting Program with custom sunglasses, portable phone chargers, lululemon shoppers, water bottles, and merch
  • Staffing & Operations Management across multiple guest touchpoints (product tent, gifting bar, reset tent)
  • Membership Growth Strategy including incentive gifting and ambassador engagement on-site

The Results

  • 7,500+ Attendees at Faces of Fitness, with the lululemon booth consistently hosting the longest lines all weekend
  • 250 New Membership Sign-Ups per Day, surpassing the original goal of 375 total (achieving 500+ across the two-day festival)
  • Premium Gifting Strategy (400+ sunglasses, 100 portable chargers, 400 shoppers, lululemon merch) created scarcity and anticipation, driving guests back on day two to ensure they could claim an item
  • High Guest Satisfaction — vanity stations and branded top-up products (sunscreen, mist, deodorant) were among the most talked-about experiences on-site
  • Elevated Brand Presence by transforming festival recovery into an immersive lululemon oasis, blending performance, hospitality, and lifestyle
